Farm now CLOSED for the 2020 Season. Thank you to all who came out.
This farm was founded by Brian and Dawn Riesett in 2004 when our first trees were planted in the ground. One of our favorite experiences was going out and cutting down a Christmas Tree every year, and we wanted to share that experience with as many people as possible. Although we love selling trees, this farm was started to honor the reason for the season: The birth of baby Jesus! What is Christmas without "Christ"?
A Christmas tree farm is a lot more work than you might think. It takes a countless amount of time to mow the grass, shear the trees, and grow a Christmas tree that looks good enough to be "the one." It is a labor of love for us, and we are happy to do what we do.
We sold our first trees in 2013, with only a few customers over the course of the entire season. Every year, however, we have gotten more and more business. Just through word of mouth, we are proud to say that our business has increased by 50% per year since then! We have been in multiple Frederick News Post articles and have been featured in several Christmas magazines as well as national Vietnamese television (that was an interesting one!). We are so happy to be spreading our message to so many so quickly and we couldn't do it without the help of our family and friends who make it all possible.
We are a family farm, and that doesn't just mean those of us running it are family, but our customers are family just as much. We have some of the best customers around! Whether you have a family tradition of coming to Dreamland or its your first year visiting, we love our customers. It is a true joy for us to see the amazing attitudes of everyone involved in our farm and it makes our jobs that much better!
